Donate backpacks filled with school supplies to non-profit organizations in your community. |

Process |
| |
- Solicit pledges for funds.
- Set budget and identify recipient organizations.
- Data gathering / purchasing phase: obtain supply lists and special criteria (ex: some schools only allow mesh back packs). Create our master shopping list. Buy the supplies.
- Preparation phase: Volunteer group meets to stuff each backpack, making sure that all the supplies and packs are attractively color coordinated and that all the needed supplies for a given grade are in the bag. Each pack is then labeled with appropriate grade level.
- Deliver the coats to the selected non-profit organizations with a list of donors.
- Recognition of donors: Each non-profit organization. sends donation documentation to each donor for their taxes.
- All volunteers that work for companies that match volunteer hours with money, should report their hours to their employer. This way the organizations who got the winter coats may also receive the matching company cash donation.
